Quick Update and Effective Tool for Disciplining Kiddos

And Many Years Later... Here I am again! Hello! I had a revelation recently and snapped out of my writer's block! I was so happy to see that my old site was still up and active and practically begging me to get my crazy a$$ back to the keyboard.  So here I go! I have been extremely crazy-busy since my last post some 6/7 years ago! The kids are older, I am back to working part-time, and I began a new journey two years ago, with hopes to get some more assistance with my son's health challenges. He was diagnosed with Autism when he was just 20 months old, and had a lot of Early Intervention, ABA Therapy, gluten free diet, social skills classes, Chiropractor, essential oils, and on and on. I am elated to announce that we are at the point where he no longer has an IEP at school (Individualized Education Plan), and does not have the diagnosis of Autism or ADHD! About the Title

Recently, when I started this blog, I mentioned the title to someone and they didn't know what "SSDD" meant, so for those who may not be familiar with the term, it's an acronym for "Same Sh*t Different Day." That's what parenting can feel like at times, especially when you have to keep telling your kids the same things over and over: it's the same old sh*t day in and day out. Don't get me wrong, there are lots of good moments, especially when they are older and can have a meaningful conversation with you. When mine were very young, it was the same daily arduous routine of making meals, changing pull-ups, getting them dressed/changed 2-3 or more times a day, breaking up fights between the siblings, trying to make them eat, trying to make them sleep, etc., etc., etc. - SSDD!
